Giuliano Fujiwara Sneakers
These F/W 2009 Giuliano Fujiwara sneakers could be easily mistaken to be from the year 2109. The Japanese designer constructed a minimalist silhouette and glossy texture to give them a futuristic appeal similar to that of Raf Simons footwear. They were to be released in stores late 2009 (not sold online) and retail is expected to be north of $500. A listing of stores carrying Giuliano Fujiwara is available here:

Note that since they have Common Projects soles they run one size larger than listed.

Hello World
So here we are, my first blog post. I'm quite excited for next months men's fashion shows and to see what will stroll down the runways.
What to Expect:
Dior Homme: Kris Van Assche seems to have finally taken some approach to his work after a few seasons of trying to emulate Hedi Slimane. I'm curious to see what he will build upon from his very open and muted S/S 2010 collection.
Gareth Pugh: After toning down drastically from his exceptional collections a few years ago, Gareth is starting to make more "wearable" clothing. Unfortunately, in doing so he is compromising his artistic visions in order to have his clothes sell. Still, he remains a cutting edge designer and has a bright future ahead of him.
Jil Sander: Raf Simons said that he was aiming for a more mature audience recently and his work for this German minimalist label has delivered. He successfully maintains a proper balance of sophistication and progressive design, appropriate for both working at the office and shopping at Colette.
Prada: Miuccia Prada has always been a designer who loves to push the envelope and I'm expecting this season to be no exception. For S/S 2010 her mesh themed clothes were cut impeccably and are definitely going to be a major style influence on what men around the world will be wearing.
Lanvin: The House of Lanvin has emerged in the past few years to be a fashion powerhouse, aimed at creating old-world couture clothes with a modern elegance. Lanvin's popular high top sneakers are expected on the runway with muted hues of blue, purple and grey.
